Shadow Warrior

Shadow Warrior

Statistiche:
Lo Wang too silent
Compared to original SW new Lo Wang rarely say something in combat. Need more oneliners.
And no response to eniroveement, especially to anime girls and rabbits. Especially to rabbits.

I agree, having played at least 2 hours, i find the game .... quiet? Like there is a significant lack of dialogue or even grunts. It breaks immersion when you realise Wang has been fighting demons quietly. Needs more "HURGH", "HA" or "OW". That i feel is what would make my experience better. (Also what's up with demon rabbits? they scare the ♥♥♥♥ out of me)
Really? I think the voice lines are done just right. You get lines when something important happens, like when an event occurs, you kill a lot of enemies or take a lot of damage, but not just out of the blue. I feel like this keeps the humor going without it getting annoying.
Exactly when you take lot of damage Lo Wang say "Ow f**k* and nothing else.
Compare this to old one, every third kill get comment

Heavy Metal Demon Rabbit scared the crap out of me the first time.
So it's true they neutered Lo Wang.

Bah, stupid political correctness fad...

These are my thoughts exactly. This is the only reason why I have been holding off on getting the game. I want the same ol' Wang.

Any command to increase speak_probability_chance ? :)
Less is more. I don't want to hear the same comment 6 billion times.

I don't think there is such a thing. If you notice throughout the game he only speaks at certain points and never says the same thing twice. Dialog seems to be scripted rather than randomized.

Yeah, new Lo Wang sucks compared to classic Lo Wang.
There is no comparison.
Biggest let down of the game, everything else is good.
Repeating a few dozen lines over and over and over and over was fine in the age of SW and Blood.

But it's 2013 at the moment.

I think the OP wants Flying Hog to script hundreds of lines and have it randomly put in. While that sounds awesome, it also sounds very expensive and I'm glad they didn't waste their money on that instead of tightening up combat and making the game look so darn nice.

Though... it does sound awesome...

I think it's a "senior versus younger" gamer thing here. I personally skipped the original as I only had the chance of playing with its demo. So I really do not have any comparison to make. Bought the Delux edition on Steam, though, and could feel the Duke Nukem-esque protagonist immediately, but found it too difficult.

What I'm trying to say is that for me the trailer did the convincing, not the title.
Sadly its not just the amount of comments that is lacking but the comments themselves barely have any of the Wang-flair left.
Its bad enough that they tossed the fake accent(young Wang speaks nearly perfect english...just what)but the jokes are just...tame as hell.
Their attempt at staying politicaly correct destroys the essence of the character.
Well at last the game itself is still good...
