"Hell On Earth" or "Slaughterhouse" Achievements.

Hail, dudes! How did you get achievements "Hell On Earth" or "Slaughterhouse"? What's kind of weapons? What's kind of enemies? May be this achievements do not pop up? I shot of rocket launher by single missile or multi launch wiyh upgrade heavy warheads and killed exactly more than 5 demons! Other weapons are not for this deal. Thx a lot for your comments.

I'm bumping this as I don't have these achievements either. For "Hell On Earth" My best bet would be to blow those skeleton thingys because they look the most fragile and come in packs.

Rockets doesn't seem to work. Tried several times where many enemies died. I think those achievements might be bugged.

Best way to do it is to have the ability that lets you knock down enemies, get to Ch. 17 and let them gather up around you as you are going up the path to the boss. When you get a bunch in front of you use the knock-down ability to knock down ones in front of you and let ones that weren't knocked down get close and then hit them with a rocket.

Yeah, sooo... I take back what I said lol. I just tried it on the chapter Superczar mentioned and I just unlocked both Hell on Earth and Slaughterhouse on Insane difficulty, meaning 8 achievements in 2 minutes.

When you start at Chapter 17, dont start running down the slope. (well, you have to go down a few steps in order for the enemies to appear) Instead, there is a cliff to your left which you can jump up on. Then you just wait there until enough enemies has assembled below you. They cant hit you up there. You also might want to hurt yourself before jumping up if you need the Rage to be activated, giving you a good damage boost. Shoot some rockets next to you to take some damage.

The important thing to remember is that I think you can only get the achivement by using only 1 rocket, so the double or triple rocket shot is out of the question.

As was suggested once by another person on these forums, you can go to the bridge in Chapter 16, use the shockwave ability until all of the enemies are knocked down and then launch a single rocket.

The beginning of Chapter 17 is also a good place to try that tactic.

Also, no, Circle of Iron (the sword spin) can not help you get the achivement. I've tried, it failed.

As mentioned above, either the bridge on cpt. 16 or the beginning of 17 while spamming shockwave is the way to do it. However i had no issues using Tri-shot with Rocket launcher.

AWESOME DUDE! Just got both HoE and Slaughterhouse on the last chapter. Waited for them to spawn, kept knocking em down until there were a bunch together, one rocket. Took about a minute for both.
