how do i kill the big stone demons?

Okay soo basically you want the demon to charge at you, as the demon is about to ram you.. side step. it will give you like 5 seconds to shoot the red spot on its back.

Sticky Mines from the crossbow work rather well on them

Taunt them into running at you, then sidestep at the last moment so that they hit a wall instead. The demon will be stunned and you can shoot their exposed back - or slice and dice it with a chi attack, which seems to work slightly better.

I've been doing this same tactic and I've shot the red spot a million times each with sticky crossbow mines, ki attacks, machine gun, and rockets all to no avail. Am I getting a glitch or something? I'm at the part where you are fighting 2 of them in a circular snowy area

Did the same strategy I've been doing but it randomly worked this time. I think the hit boxes were glitched or something

This level is so unnecessary, still can't beat it so I have up several times

I also struggled with this and come up with tactic where you shoot them from behind the bushes in the middle of area with machine guns or revolver. Just bait them back there when they reach you and repeat till they die. Super unfun enemy.
