wont launch game...
Whenever I go to launch Shadow Warrior, it gives me four options: Play Shadow Warrior, Safe Mode, Play Shadow Warrior (Windows XP), and Safe Mode (Windows XP). No matter which option I choose, after I hit play, nothing happens. The little steam popup that says "Preparing to launch Shadow Warrior" comes up and my steam icon goes green for about a second, but then the popup closes and my icon goes back to blue. After that, nothing happens. I have tried to verify the integrity of my game cache, reinstall the game, and run it as the administrator but nothing has worked so far and launching sw.exe in shadow warrior folder get me error "the procedure entry point getlogicalprocessorinformation could not be located in the dynamic link library kernel32.dll".

What OS do you have?

Found info that this error happens for programs requiring XP SP3 when being run on XP SP2 or previous editions.

When you verify the game cache does it ever find anything?

Open C:\WINDOWS\system32 folder in the explorer and find kernel32.dll file. Open its properties.
Second tab, select File Version. What does it say?
On XP SP3 it should say smth similar to
5.1.2600.6532 (xpsp_sp3_qfe.140312-0419)
.Well, at least if theres sp2 instead of sp3 that would explain the error.

Strange. It should work then...

Maybe upgrade windows version to Win7? It should definitely fix this error.
If your PC is capable of playing Shadow Warrior it should definitely be able to handle Win7.

Or maybe upgrade directly to Win10, its not that different from Win7 in system requirements.
