Japanese Audio

Hello.

I am very disapointed that this game does not have Japanese audio. I will never take a game seriously if it is seemingly set in Japan and is heavily inspired by Japanese culture but doesn't have Japanese audio. I will not support this game.

If you ever do a sequel - add Japanese audio and pay respect to the culture that inspired you to make this game.

P.S. A note: I will not check this topic for new answers, I am leaving it for the developers to see because I do know a few of them check the boards. Just wanted to discourage trolling from the get-go.

Making a complaint without listening to opinions is the most hypocrite thing I can ever think of :/.

About your idea... I'm pretty sure they would've done it by now so they probably can't find good japanese actors that:

-know english (so they actually know what to say)
-a good voice (tbh, the voice that the main character has is just... perfect for him)

At least use the actual Japanese if you're going to moan. Don't use the Romanji version.

The game isn't meant to be serious. Honestly. Lo Wang wouldn't even be funny in a Japanese voice imo. The whole point is for him to have the sterotypical Asian voice in English.

I'm an avid enthusiast of East Asian history/culture but do you see me moaning? No.

Truth be told: the game is not set in actual Japan (and the protagonist is Chinense)
...and was inspired by the original Shadow Warrior, which was kinda spoof on Hollywood depicted Japanese culture, so the game is hardly to be taken seriously.
And adding Japan Voices would be like adding insult to injury ;)

Aight let’s summarize why is this guy an idiot:

-implies that game must be taken seriously

-demands future-sequel to have japanese audio even tho there’s already a sequel

-demands japanese audio on a game based on another game that is based on hollywood depicted “japanese culture”
