Xbox 360 Controller recognized but no inputs are recognized

So, I just bought this off of GMG's awesome 75% off deal for $3.74 and am looking forward to finally sitting down with the game!

However, I noticed that the game recognized I had my wired 360 controller plugged in but doesn't recognize any buttons I press or sticks I move. Thought this was just a menu thing but getting into the game I receive the same result.

Anybody else having the same problem? Don't mind going to keyboard and mouse but I like to switch it up from time to time especially if I have Big Picture up on my actual TV.

Same problem, after a bit of search found the problem is with my G13; game gets messed up identifying the controller with the G13 plugged in. Solution was to uninstall it (messy but works) or follow this thread:

for 360 i think you need to install first the cd included in the controller.

Before plugging in the controller, install the drivers (I am using a Microsoft USB Wireless headset reciever for my 360 controller.) I also have the G500 and G15 plugged in and working while i play the game. Just ensure you have your controller on before opening Steam/TLR and it should work. Feels just like the 360 version of the game... with better graphics.

Thanks so much for this, it was a life saver and all works fine now. Thanks to yourself and the chap who posted the .dll that fixes all. Uninstalling was really not an option for me.

This issue also happens for other games that will natively work with an XBOX 360 Controller. If you have Windows XP , you first have to install the controller driver for your system. If you have Windows Vista, It will install but you will have to install the updated controller driver on Windows Update. On Windows 7 and Windows 8 / 8.1 the same applies.

i have trie with unofficial driver for controller one but dont work too



After test i have unistal libUSB and Vjoy ( for play with this controller without offical driver ) and now its work i m so sorry ^^ just a conflict with unofficial driver my bad

I Tried to put the dll found in "blocked" into "last remnant/binaries"... still not working... It's second game I cannot play because of that (first one is Dark souls)... all other games are working fine
Uninstalling G13 or whatever I use is not an option (I m not planing to disable one of my favourite device for just one game I m not sure i ll like)


So any clue? Did I miss something? (maybe restarting steam after putting dll file in "binaries"?... repairing the game? else?)

I finally found: I indeed needed the dll file AND controler must be controler N°1 (on green circle).. Maybe that can help someone
