Have you checked the guides section?
Where have you gotten stuck?
On Rpgs, any true rpg is going to have a point now n then when u may have to 'grind' . Sometimes it is required in most games otherwise you're just going to have a tough time of it in some situations. Zloth's guides he made touches on that a bit though. If u approach this game expecting to level up your people in the same sense u might in another game u will make things difficult to urself, but skipping and avoiding as many fights as u can or only fighting a single enemy at a time is going to make things brutal for u as well.
Sometimes it takes a few re-loads until u see the effect this can have.
Personally, I wouldnt stop playing this game though. I really start to enjoy the battle system more n more as I'm able to increase the size of my Unions.
You don't have necessarily have to grind unless you try to bypass as much fighting as you can. Naturally fighting everything you run into will satisfy most of the leveling required. Plus if you go back and forth to get more resources through the dig points, you fight more and not really focus so much on just plain "grinding".
Also I heard that grinding is actually counterintuitive if you do it too much. And I think you want to fight as many mobs at a time in a single battle, or you don't get nearly as much stat growth.
Hmm right this is a military strategy game with the variation of formations and commands. This is not your MMORPG, or what you call a weak battle system. Each one is for Flanks or the deadlocks. Only a strategist would understand this. Your mind is weak and thinks of just NIntendo 8-bit systems. lol
Bastok
*sigh* So basically what you're saying is,
"You're opinion is different from mine, therefore you lack the ability to think critically."
There's no need to insult him because he can't get into the game. Also, this game is FAAAAAAAR from being a "military strategy game" that requires a "stratgeic" mind. Its a generic RPG that has a slightly different playstyle, but it is NOT as complicated as you claim...

That said, I love the game. But its one of those games that you either like or hate, I don't feel like it'll grow on ya if you already hate it.
