With Emmy she has access to one handed, powergrip and dual wield. Most of her learnt skills are of the latter.
Her dual wield arts would continue to advance, but she would lose access to sword specific dual wield arts like moulinet, and would eventually pick up third eye and go from there.
If you turned off all but her one handed arts, (to get snowpetal I assume) then she would not be far off snowfall since she already has helm split learnt which is one handed-katana specific. Snowfall is the highest tier art for one handed-katana, so it might take a while to get since all of Emmy's training prior to you getting her the Nightbloom, was with swords.
Better disable all dual wield arts, one-handed should be set as default. And Snowpetal is avialable for union leader only.
Just so you know, Katana Weapon Type level is behind in levels compared to Blocter etc because Emmy did not use katana from the start.
What level Helm Split is, is irrelevant. Since Helm Split is based on Katana WT(lvl 8) level you can get an estimate on how far is left when you learn Helm Split for the first time. But the I-V level does not affect it in any way.
Or it could be that I am reading your post wrong and misunderstand what you are trying to say.
Another try. OP has Snowpetal = katana lvl 15 = 1960xp (WT). Required lvl 20 is 2660xp (WT). And it is still alot of grinding, right?
TLR is so complicated, however..
Not quite. Required Wield Style (WS) level for Snowfall is 20. Required Weapon Type (WT) level is 16. Maybe I guessed wrong before and he is missing WS levels. WS levels are really easy to get though.
Snowpetal has WS lvl 15 and WT lvl 15.
OP: If you are having trouble getting enough WS levels then I am sure that normal attacks are good at increasing WS levels with, because that is what I have been focusing on rather than CA commands. I think I have about three times as many WS levels compared to WT levels.
You are getting the terminology wrong which can easily cause confusion. Wield Style(WS) is how you wield your weapon. One handed, Power grip etc. There is no katana WS. Katana is a Weapon Type(WT).
I don't know if your Emmy has finally learnt Snowpetal, but my Emmy has just learnt it. I checked with a trainer and noticed that she made it there just when her Katana reached level 15.
Let her use her one-hand arts and she will make it, if she hasn't already.
