Trainer and Game Information Tools

In case you are not aware of it, there exist multiple tools to assist you in this game.

Recent and currently developed tools are:
TLRPlanner (0.6.2), a mix of trainer and information tool. Can display, for example, all spawned monster in you current area; see its website[tlr.theobyte.de] for download details.
RemnantAssist (1.13), a tool displaying most of the game's data; see The GF entry[www.gamefaqs.com] for download details.

Older tools, but still useful:
Necifer's Trainer, a trainer with some nonworking functions but still useful; download url here[www.gamefaqs.com]
TLR_MG, the original english trainer; download here[www.gamefaqs.com]
TLR_EE, the orignal japanese trainer and source for TLR_MG; is in japanese and needs a fix for modern systems; download here (Post #6)[www.gamefaqs.com]

A savegame editor currently does not exist (though one is in development), but the trainers can do everything a savegame editor could do as well.

So how do you use TLR planner? Tried downloading it for the class info tool but it wont open for some reason... Do I have to place the file in the steam folder of TLR?

It should be able to run everywhere. The only thing that is needed is the .NET Framework 4.5 (or newer) which should already be installed, but can be downloaded directly from the microsoft website (this link: https://www.microsoft.com/en-US/download/details.aspx?id=42642 should work, if steam allows linking it).
Does it show any errors; does it appear in the task manager?

The game needs to be running for the planner to work properly, but it should still run regardless. It'll just be full of empty tabs.

nope, it's a helpful tool, when people don't want to enter and exit a place before going insane, when searching for some rare monsters.

Is TLRPlanner still working? I get a "An error occured while loading the data" when I launch it.

Edit: Nevermind. If someone has the same problem, launching the game in compatibility mode (XP SP3) and TLRPlanner as admin fixed it for me.

Rush on TLR Planner doesn't seem to support Scholar progression. Currently a monk str 29, int 26, staff 1, items 4, myst 1, 2H 7. And no option for progressing to scholar.

Cheat Engine is really useful for speeding up the more tedious parts of the game (like some of the running around) with it's inbuilt speed hack. It's a good program to have for single player games imo.
