The only way I managed to do it in the end was to equip the Commanders Rapier simply because it added more defence.
I think you are talking about the xbox version, as the grinding issue was fixed for PC.
I giggle at low BR runners. I guess it's one way to make your game artificially more boring. Not do sidequests and run away from normal mobs until you start to wonder why you lose 20 fights against an easy boss in a row.
However in PC version, overgrinding will still kill you because party members gear outdated to BR.
May i ask for curiosity if is it possible to defeat Enlightened Seven in low BR run?
