problems with the controler
i'm having some troubles with the controller, my game don't recognize my controler, my new controll is a Redragon Seymur 2, and saddly i can´t play this game with it...
the sad part is that my old controller worked perfectly, but it broke a few months ago, and the support look like it was extinct... anyone know how to make this controller work on the game?

It depends on the gamepad, if it is possible with yours it should be clearly told in your user manual (logitech's F710 for example has a toggle near where the cable would be if it wasn't wireless).

If your gamepad wasn't built to handle multiple input types, all you can do is use third party tools to "trick" the games to think you are using xinput (not sure if steam's big picture configuration supports d-input as an input method, if not you might want to go for what pinkpanther linked previously).

I have never herd of that kind of controller before. Maybe the controller cannot be used on this game.I use a Xbox 360 usb controller an it always works with any games that accepts a controller.
Good luck an sorry i was not of any help. Have an awesome day

my controller was an usb 360 too, but it broke, and i wasn´t with much money so i bought that one who was at 50% of the price, and i could buy it... but in the future, when i get a new job i think i´ll buy a new 360 usb just to play this game... and thanks for answering
Have an awesome day too my friend

Your controller only supports Dinput, which is more or less obsolete. Most games, this one included, need an Xinput controller (usually marked as 'XBOX compatible').

You could try an emulator though:

That's weird, when I search for that gamepad's name on google I only find the "G806" variant of it and that model claims to support xinput, d-input and even PS3.

I know that my controller (not the same but a multi-input type as well) required that I manually couple its xinput mode with the xbox360 drivers (and it required that with each of the "big" creator updates from windows), so if you understand how to put it in xinput first you should be able to use it.

(all of this of course if your model is the G806 one, because I don't know the specs if it is not)

@Fel
I suppose it's this one:
https://www.redragon.com.br/seymour2g806-1

Seems like only Dinput is supported.
Didn't find specs in English though...

EDIT: Link

On english sites (they call it seymur like OP instead of seymour so I assumed it was that one) they specifically talk about xinput:

Strange...

On the European site they also don't mention Xinput, only Dinput:
http://redragonzone.eu/http:/redragonzone.eu/catalog/seymur-2-gamepad/

Conflicting info indeed.

Would be interesting to know how to switch Input Mode, so OP could try whether his version supports Xinput or not.
