TLR planner - how to spawn rares?

Hi Guys,

Can anyone advise how to actually spawn rares using the planner tool? It has "toggle rare spawn" on the world map...but it doesnt seem to work?

Any button combinations etc?

I wasn't even aware that TLR Planner had something like this (and it apparently didn't receive a new version while I was not looking), but I would help you test how it works if you can tell me where you found this function.

EDIT: scratch that, I have been using an old version for years for no reason, getting the new one right now to test.

While in the world map view, go to TLRPlanner, click 'Toggle Rare Spawner', select the rare you want to spawn from the list and enter the respective location.

And the accessories with [Added Effect] Occurrence actually only raise the chances for triggering added effects of weapons, nothing to do with chances of spawning rares.

From my quick tries, it didn't always spawn what I selected, but selecting one from the correct zone seems to more or less force a rare anyway (I could only spawn urraco and yellowcap from the dillmoor zone, but selecting something else spawned one of these two instead of the selected).

(edit: Damnit, I had finally stopped playing this game for long enough to not have the itch to play and now it made me want to go at it again, curse you and the new version of the planner...)

Depends also on where you are in the storyline. E.g. you can't spawn Spiritbeast Rin in Mt. Vackel before you have entered Undelwalt.

Thank you so much! I been wondering how to toggle it since it never work at all. Oh... I didn't realize I need to be in the world map in order to do that.
