It's not your usual "describe absolutely every step you need to do", but it has a pretty easy to understand explanation of the weird mechanics of this game as well as a walkthrough that should be good enough as a base without restricting you too much.
Other than that, TLR Planner is pretty good for telling you when side quests are available and it has maps of the zones (that you can also find in the wiki).
Remnant Assistant is useful for tracking skills a bit better than tlr planner as well.
And obviously having the wiki on hand is never a bad option, to check the requirements of classes, skills and where a specific enemy can spawn for example.
In any case, don't use TLR guides written for X360, since these two versions differ a lot and a guide for the X360 may push you in a completely wrong direction (regarding stat/skill building).
And BTW, if I were a Demigod, I would be able to Bewitch my subjects.
Unfortunately this is not (yet) the case...
What mod version would you guys recommend. I have played before and like grinding for parts, skills etc
Thanks in advance.

Thanks I have the wiki link. Was looking for advice on what version of the BR mod to use. I like to grind a lot for components, rares, skills etc
Problem is that it only makes sense to use that mod, if you exactly know what you're doing.
If you chose a too 'easy' version of the mod, the enemies stay at their easiest level, but you might not gain stats from them any more (you can only gain stats from enemies with a BR equal or higher than yours).
If you chose a curve which is too steep, the game will get harder than normal, sometimes close to impossible.
So it's kind of impossible to recommend the 'right' version of that mod. It depends on what you're going to do in your playthrough.
The BR mod does not 'fix' the BR system in the game; it only allows you to change the BR of your enemies to a level which you can control yourself.
The PC version has no BR problem. It's a myth carried over from the X360 version which gets repeated over and over and everybody keeps blaming their difficulties in this game to the BR thing. In 90% of the cases it's not, but rather lacking stats/skills. Too many one-turn battles against minor mobs give no stats and/or leaving all arts enabled dilutes all skill gains (instead of limiting art/skill development to the best one or two arts currently available for that unit)
In this post I listed an approximate BR guideline for an unmodded PC game:
https://steamcommunity.com/app/23310/discussions/0/1760230682466445145/?ctp=7#c1734336452599430942
Also max. BRs for stat grinding. As you can see, the BR headroom in the PC version is quite big.
What I'd recommend is playing the game normally (but do not grind early on). Whenever you run into danger of exceeding these BR guidelines, then you might want to increase enemies' BR curve by a certain percentage, IIRC that would be Vanilla +25%, then Vanilla +50%, etc.
Definitely. I have come to believe that on the PC any badly started game can be recovered to a successful completion That does not mean it is worth the time and effort - my first run was a major wrong start. The amount of time recovering was probably enough to have started over and done a second run. While we can complain there should have been better info with the game about how to play, there is plenty now available to reduce those problems if players follow the core guidelines (lots of room for individualism inside those).
This is a bit delayed ... Absolutely! :^)
I struggled trying to remember where I had seen "Zloth". This morning as I was posting about an update to RemnantAssistant (RA), it came back because I remembered a false accusation about me (my memory is not as good as it used to be :^( , and senior moments are a PITA).
Several people at GameFAQs had accused me of stealing my source code for RA from someone else and not giving proper credit. One of those accusing people subsequently copy/pasted part of your guide in a GF post without giving you credit. Shortly thereafter you posted something like "Hello, Thief - you stole my work."
FWIW, one of the accusers claimed it was his source code that I had stolen, and wanted us to go to GF admin to get me banned. When I accepted his challenge to prove who wrote the code and the loser be banned, he suddenly had no time to waste for such an effort.
