The Last Remnant Remastered Computer Specifications?
Hey, I'm saving up money for a new PC and its basically going to binge this. It's my first time, and I've done a bit of research. I just want a bit of help. At least where to find approximations for the specs on this game would be nice. I imagine that in 2018, its going to be a game requiring more computer power than what was available in 2009.

Uhm, Remastered isn't coming to PC, mate, it's PS4 exclusive hence they ditched this PC version since it basically is a remastered version compared to X360 one.

Do you realize that it was only announced on PS4?

I mean, we "might" get it at some point in the future, but no certainty until they say anything official about it (there aren't even grounded rumours outside of wishful thinking from players like us).

As for the specs, they shouldn't be too much higher, given that outside of the engine going up by a full version, most of the "remastered" things showed until now were already on the PC version (it's the reason why the comparison videos show xbox 360 and PS4 versions, because outside of tweaks to lighting from the newer unreal engine, everything seems to be about what we got on PC).

If you want to be certain to be able to run it well if/when it comes, you could look at the specs for other unreal 4 games, this will definitely not be as demanding as the more advanced ones using that engine.

Most current UE4 games list 8 GB RAM and a GTX 1060 / RX 570 as recommended.
Which does not mean that games run great at recommended specs.
Probably need to aim a bit higher than that for great performance in modern games.

You'll be waiting a bit, they'll likely port the remaster to PC 2yrs after the PS4 release

Try get a rig with i7 Hexa core coffee lake and GTX1080 or higher as those make up the bulk of your performance and will allow you to run any game comofortably

All other parts you can upgrade over time like adding more ram, switching harddrives to SSD's, better monitors etc.

Last Remnant specifically though isnt very demanding, it can run on a potatoe, from the remaster you can expect the most they would do is retexture it even though what it needs most is to be reanimated

Edit;
Tip for monitors btw, look for one with DirectPort compatibility, DP lets you run 4k in 60hz

It's a pity that they took down the "old" version.

Too many companies do that :steamsad:

Their followup statement seems to indicate that it could come back some day.

I still hope we get the remaster, but there's no way to tell with Square.
