My xbox one controller wont work with the game. Any fix for the issue?

First off, I gotta say, this game seems real fun. I did the first (tutorial) mission and I'm enjoying how easy it is to get into, the bright colors, fast action, and lively banter. The game-style is exactly what I'm looking for: nothing too cerebral, but rewarding for the playstyle. That said, I was a little shocked when the first intro shot out the emasculative perjorative p****y , and then began air-dropping F bombs like ammo powerups. I don't know if any gamers here are old enough to remember but this screams Strike series by EA back in the 90s... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strike_series those games were fun as hell with lots of explosions! I played Soviet Strike on PS1 and Nuclear Strike on PC... fun times!...

game crashed 3 to 4 minutes after launching

My B button was acting as the A (Accept) button in game, and X was acting as B (Back). I couldn't turn with the right stick, I could only do it with the triggers. Plus L3 and R3 (for changing altitude) did nothing. I was using the default controller config. Other games that use the controller are fine. Anybody else having this problem? Thank goodness the keyboard/mouse controls are nice....
