Can't Save?

I don't see a save button anywhere. All I see during gameplay are the buttons in the lower right (slow auto dialogue, fast auto dialogue, hide dialogue, settings (BGM, Vocal, Screen, Language, & Return Title which doesn't even work), and Log. I've tried all keys across my keyboard and nothing seems to open a save menu. I assume the save button might be supposed to show up in the blue tab below the yellow Return Title tab in the settings menu, but it's blank and unclickable.

Anyone know how I go about saving so I don't have to keep manually skipping entire sections just to get back to where I left off? Thanks!
