Zen also have to get their hands on the hardware but if there's one in the Budapest Pinball Museum that makes things a bit easier, it can then be disassembled to model parts etc.
Not solely in the Budapest museum, but that is how they have got a physical table so far (in all or almost all currently released tables). Think Cactus Canyon is one with a small hint that may not be there (unless one has been acquired in the last year or so); don't know if the remake will affect when that one is likely to be released as any non-original code would need an additional license agreement to use.
We have also some tables in our personal collection too. ;) F14 Tomcat would be a great addition for sure!
