Banzai Run and cabinet mode ?
How will Zen Studio handle the backglass in cabinet mode ?

Option 1: No integration. The playfield will turn into playable blackglass when the ball goes up.

Option 2: We will get a real playable backglass.

I would be so happy with a real playable backglass, but I'm afraid it will be option 1.

I stated a version of the first paragraph below earlier on the VPUniverse Discord after a similar question was posed:

The camera will slid up to the backglass when needed. The view you get after it has 'slid up' to the top playfield is like at 0.08 of the launch trailer, only you'll just see the actual machine if you're in cab mode, and none of the background. The 'slide up' cam procedure is already in the game, so it was just at matter of programming and installing the top playfield (albeit at a ridiculous pitch of course) and sorting out the ball-lift mech. etc.

In other words, it will almost certainly be your 'Option 1'. I'd be very surprised if they go down the 'real playable backglass' route, especially as only cab mode users will get to enjoy it. Would seem like an awful lot of work for something that won't reach a big chunk of their player base.

Would be totally fun to have of course. I've played NBA Fastbreak virtually with it's interactive BG. Regardless, having a fully playable permanent BG on BR would be a very big step, one that's not worth taking in my opinion when you look at the effort needed vs. the reward.

Your comment makes sense.
It would be interesting to know the exact number of players (or percentage) that use a cabinet. Keeping in mind that there are mostly hardcore pinball fans, and certainly loyal customers.
