Terrible sound?
The pinball machines themselves look good and run smooth for me, but something I noticed is that the sound FX are awful, they sound muddy, quiet and low quality compared to not only the actual pinball machines but pinball games with some of the same machines that I played literally like 20 years ago. I'm wondering if other's feel this way.

Do you mean the bleeps and bloops, or the physics sounds? i.e. ball roll, hits, flipper sounds etc?

The flippers have always sounded lame and fake to me, ever since PFX on xbox 360. And the audio balance in this one is all over the place. Personally, those are my only audio complaints. Well.. that and too much talking in some tables.

I haven't noticed anything like that. The main sound-related thing that bugs me are the voices on certain tables that sound little like the characters they're supposed to be. (Like on the Star Trek tables).

Definitely issues with Williams ROM audio which could benefit from further development. It sits low in the mix introducing balance issues with Zen's samples. It also seems to be EQ'd introducing unintended artifacts and distortion.

It would be preferable to have a dedicated volume slider for all ROM audio and to keep that channel as raw and accurate as possible. Their frequency range would be narrower but I think that would keep reproduction distinct and better preserve their original clarity.

Any sort of sound effects that are meant to replicate the original table
