Any specific advice on your settings.ini edits?
It also flickered on me until I set the backglass position.
I had to disable the backglass while setting it up.
same thing here
a duplicate DMD appears after a few seconds of play, flickering over the playfield in top left position
These are the values that I used from FX3 that seemed to do the trick. My backglass is 1920x1080 and arranged as 1 | 2 side by side in Windows. I just added the numerical values to the relevant lines in the .ini file and then restarted FX and everything worked.
Dot matrix horizontal position = 2245
Dot matrix vertical position = 720
Dot matrix horizontal size = 1270
Dot matrix vertical size = 340
Backglass horizontal position = 1921
Backglass vertical position = 0
Backglass horizontal size = 1920
Backglass vertical size = 1080

Hi, this isn’t resolved. I’ve tried multiple settings change methods in the in game menus and by editing the settings.ini file. I have three monitors set up vertically in my cab. They are also aligned vertically in windows settings. All works fine in fx3.
Once everything looks correct in the settings, back glass and dmd display correctly only if I enable them one at a time. If I enable both, I get strange flickering effects (usually a ghost dmd on the playfield) and double up of these images across monitors despite the settings for coordinates and scale being correct. This is often followed by a fatal error. Currently I’m just playing without the back glass as whenever I enable it the problem occurs.
Unusually, the back glass image will occasionally appear inside the dmd window when I’m tweaking those settings too.
I changed this to borderless windowed and the issue disappeared entirely. Everything now runs as it should with no flickering or ghosting. Hope that helps someone.
