Cabinet mode: How to ....... The start and what are the next steps?
Hi,

Cabinet mode only works half for me ...

- I can enable it
- I can set the positions of the DMD and Backscreen (same as in FX3)
- I see the the DMD on my second screen
- The backscreen image file is missing
- The playfield is not Rotated....

So what are the next steps to make this work in my cabinet?

The backglass images you have to find yourself like in the previous games and place them in the right folders.

As for the Playfield rotation, you can now change that in the game's Settings.

They are still making us supply our own backglass? Ugh!

cabinet mode is only partially implemented without command line parameters you are not able to launch your tables from within the frontends. I'm in the process of updating my launcher to support steam and the new tables, i just hope the table order inside the game will be the same inside steam and epic version as they have an habbit of changing them with every release

At this time, from what I can tell, cabinet mode is now the equivalent of FX3.

If this game is in for the long haul, it only gets better from here.

No truer words have ever been spoken...VPX & VPVR will always be #1 without question.

The "Williams Pinball: Backbox View" option is missing in the controller section. (For use of a plunger in cabinet mode) otherwise, the screen is scrolling up when the plunger is released.

Finally got it downloaded and installed on my cabinet. Setting up the backglass and dmd locations was fairly straight forward and I like the animated border so you can actually see if you have your settings correct, however, I would have put the playfield display rotation in that same area rather than in the display settings area.

It is currently unplayable on my cabinet because the flipper delay is worst than it was when FX came to Xbox. Obviously Zen needs someone who knows optimisation because FX REALLY needs to be optimised.
