It looked really bad in the beginning until I noticed that the render resolution was set to 80%. After setting it to 100% it’s really nice.
I agree with everything what You said here.
For sure, I have no problem with paying for tables again. Im paying just 10 Euro every day 356 days every year to smoke cigarettes, and it's just burning money.
"I've tried this game year ago on epic games and nothing really changed."
100% agree.
Like You im playing this just for leaderboards.
On my RTX4090 and f i9 13900K on f 120hz, 86inch TV this game doesnt looks and perform as good as FX3.
HDR implementation is garbage too...
The UI looks like it was designed by a drunken child with no arm in an early version of MS Paint.
And the new logo is just a nail in the coffin of a product that has had no equal in its field for years. My mother-in-law would design better in MS Word and this is absolutely no joke.
However, I still believe that over time they will do something about this junk and we will see a product worthy of the current technology.
I hope they will sort it out, because in the near future I intend to build a new pc that will allow me to play this game and others at 4K resolution.
You have: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER
You have: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-10600KF CPU @ 4.10GHz
You have: 16 GB
You have: Windows 10
You have: 1.3 TB
I get medium graphical settings at 60fps...
4K RT enabled 130 - 140 fps
4K RT disabled 220 - 250 fps
At 1080P double of these values.
To be honest i use computer for work at 90 percent of time, If I had to pay this money to play pinball game comfortably, I would never play this game.
FX3 engine in my opinion was the perfect combination of quality and performance.
FX is...what it is.
On my Steam Deck however it's a different story. Can only hit 60 FPS at the Deck's native resolution (And occasionally it drops), can't even run the game at 1080p on my TV with lowest settings, whereas FX3 runs flawlessly on Deck at 1080p. This wouldn't be a *huge* issue if it wasn't for the awful AA. Really needs to run at a higher resolution to look decent.
Definitely hoping Zen can implement some more graphics options so we can lower more settings. Let me turn reflections off, let me turn realtime shadows off, let me lower the texture quality a little bit. Quite frankly, even if it ends up looking worse then FX3 to get the same performance in Unreal, I don't care, it's pinball and all I want is for it to look crisp and run at 60 FPS.
Just wondering.
Yet, my mom can play this game smoothly at 4K on Xbox Series X. How is that possible? Did they lower graphic quality on consoles compared to PC?
