No profile pictures

I can't see anyone's profile pictures. Is that a bug? What can I do?

Me too, I can't see anyone's profile pictures myself (including my own profile picture) and I think any other here too. I say this is a bug. There is nothing you can do about it, Zen needs to fix this.

I am not sure what profile picture you're talking about or where you think it should be appearing in FX. If you mean the Steam profile picture as shown in the image below, I don't think I've ever seen that outside of the Steam application or website. I've never seen it in a game.

That object is the "frame" part of a user's customization. It's a standard graphic that is actually part of FX.

I'd agree that it seems reasonable to think it should show the user's profile picture in the frame. But I don't think it ever has. It may be a bug, but if so it's probably been there forever.

And it might not be a bug. Since that image could be different for every player, and each player could change it 10 times a day if they wanted, that means the image would always have to be loaded on demand as needed. For every player listed in the leaderboards. It would need to get that data from Steam's servers, so it seems likely that there could be some serious performance issues attached to the idea.

I think the first thing that needs to be done would be for Zen to clarify if it's supposed to be showing the user's portrait.

I pointed with the arrows that those two profiles do have a unique pictures instead of a light blue "man". So it is possible somehow and works for some people.

I played a few tables in FX3 this afternoon and while it doesn't have the same customization features, I did notice that it DID show profile pictures for players on the leaderboards.

It seems a bit more limited than what you might expect in FX, but they ARE there.

Maybe... just because they're in FX3 doesn't mean they are actually supposed to be in FX where you expected to see them. It just means it's a possibility.

The profile pic's were in the game, it's been only recently that they disappeared. Hopefully Zen is aware and will undo whatever happened that caused this.

Yes, few months ago, profile pictures works fine.
