Only the Williams premiums are $10 or more, just like here.
Everything else is between $3-5 per table. Base app is the Secrets and Shadows 3-pack for $10.
They confirmed more tables are arriving; we'll just have to watch.
In conclusion i'm gonna stick with Pinball FX on Steam. But if you only have an Oculus 2 or 3 it's decent if you enjoy pinball.
P.S i already spent $22.50 on Indiana Jones on FX3 and FX..i'm done buying it.
All of the Williams tables here are more than $5 each so why were you expecting them to be cheaper on Meta?
Balti provided this handy tip (sorry, no pun intended):
To turn off character animations, go to: Palm Menu → Settings → Ingame → Environment Animations.
To disable them while playing a table, use: Pause → Settings → Ingame → Environment Animations.
For this quality I won´t invest though I really want to support VR it´s incredible. I hope there will be a steamvr version and that together with better headsets then the quest 3 I hopefully find it worth it. This is currently a downgrade to star wars vr and fx 2 vr though nice with new tables.
The base game everybody should buy. There is very good opportunities to demo tables and the stock ones are among the better working ones.
As for the environment again I preferr how it´s in classic where the entire room atmosphere changes according to which table you use. Here its more grounded in reality but then you don´t get as much help with the atmosphere.
As for controls would preferr having buttons mapped to the flippers. I need to press the triggers like 80 % before they register. Make timing really hard. Also the tactile effect don´t work yet in fx vr however it´s incredible weak in fx 2 classic and other titles so that don´t make much of a difference. Another reason for steam vr be able to use more controllers
The DLC was more expensive than I expected.. but also so support them in keeping improving the game and releasing new tables, I bought all the DLC. Considering the amount of hours I will spent of them - well worth the money.
Does it make sense to compare sale prices on Steam against regular prices for MQ? That's what you're doing. Wait until there's a sale for the MQ versions before you compare prices.
Are you playing on a Q2 or Q3? Are you using GQO to increase CPU/GPU?
