Any news on VR Support ?
Hi @Zen Studios !!!

I love to see the game released on Steam !!

However I cannot go back from VR Awesomeness is the only way to have a true 1:1 real life-size scale and true 3D stereoscopic to play pinball with perfect freedom to view the tables without any FIXED CAMERA limitations of traditional Flat-screen 2D gameplay.

So, please... do you have any news of VR support coming???

Unreal Engine supports VR natively !!

Also I don't see my mouse in VR (but do so on my monitor), anyone have that issue too?
it happens if you press any inputs on the vr controllers so just place them down so you cant accidentally press anything. using a gamepad bypassed it for me

I had my controllers off, but the crashing happened when I tries to change game settings or settings in the mod and it seemed the crashing happened randomly. But lowering my resolution seems to have fixed that issue.

Loving this in VR with UEVR so far. Barely beat one of my high scores too lol. Still, runs perfectly, no crashing, just have to adjust the camera now and then but it's all good.

How is it? If its decent, I'll actually buy some tables for this game.

It looks incredible in VR ... I use a PICO 4 with Virtual Desktop - VDXR (OpenXR) - VD Ultra setting, resolution approximately 5400 x 2700 and an RTX 3070 OC. Easily 72+ fps.
Praydog has really optimized his UE unreal engine VR injector ! Pinball FX in VR is now almost as good as Pinball FX2 VR (native VR!). FX2 VR has additional VR-look created added options, but unfortunately far less tables compared to the new Pinball FX. I truly love both of these pinball games !
BTW do not ever use your VR controllers or Pinball FX may crash. Only gamepads like XBOX/logitech to control the game. That is why VDXR is the best option (better than OpenVR for this game), we can't use the UEVR menu anyway or Pinball FX may crash.

I don't know what the fps limit for the Pico is, but don't you find it better to prioritize getting the max fps over graphic quality? I have a G2 (90fps) and anything below 90fps immediately feels a bit janky. So I run it at a much lower resolution to get a stable 90fps.

I've been playing with UEVR as well. Reverb G2 on a 3070Ti (so not the greatest graphics card, as VR goes). Anyhow, it's a spectacular experience, imo! Can't wait to get back to it after work! Best digital pinball experience I've ever had - better than the original Pinball FX VR, imo. One tip to get improved performance for a stable 90fps is to consider combining UEVR with OpenXR Toolkit. It decreases stability atm... crashes when trying to switch tables, for example. But it enables use of FOVeated rendering. That means everything off in your extreme peripheral vision... sometimes even outside of the physical FOV of your headset depending on settings, gets rendered at much lower resolution. Personally, I don't notice any detrimental effect unless I absolutely crank it.. but I do notice that I get ~ 10% FPS boost. Enough to lock in 90fps on my rig on the most demanding table I'm aware of: Monster Mash w/ all the extra animations enabled.

Yes, I've noticed my high scores immediately improved, too... and consistently. Having full situational awareness, depth perception, and accurate scaling makes play so much more intuitive, just as IRL.

There is a UEVR profile for Pinball M that works just as well for Pinball FX in VR.
I use Virtual Desktop VDXR Ultra settings, resolution 5550 x 2736 with just 8 GB VRAM / RTX 3070 OC.
Looks and plays incredible in VR.

Could you tell me where I can find that profile? I checked the FlatVR Discord and the Google sheet but couldn't find it..

I just tried uevr out now. Had to set render resolution at 80% using 2070 S with Ryzen 5 5600X. Works pretty well but can anyone help me figure out how to not have room tilting up. Tried recentering view but still standing on incline.

You can manually swing the camera around with an xbox controller. Just go into the UEVR menu L3+R3, then hold R2 down and use the joysticks to get it where you want it.

I was able to go side to side and up and down, but room still on incline. I must be doing something wrong. I'll give it another go. Thanks

The pinball fx profile can be downloaded from Alex' Google Drive. URL to that Drive can be found in the UEVR discord channel. (the general or support section).

The profile is called 'Pinball M' :

I'm sure many are sick of hearing this, but if you need more FPS for VR there has never been a better time to slash your SSR roughness.

Paste this location into your Explorer address bar (Win+E):
%LOCALAPPDATA%\PinballFX\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\Engine.ini

Add this to the bottom of the file and save.

[SystemSettings]
r.SSR.Quality=3
r.SSR.MaxRoughness=0.35

Figured out my room incline problem, under camera in uevr check decoupled pitch enabled. That'll straighten you up. Thanks for help fellas
