That is really hopefull to hear, thanks for the update!
Would you mind sharing any links or videos to any how to's or tutorials that you found useful? I remember looking into this as an option and can't remember the specifics just that something had me at a stopping point but I'm ready to attempt again.

I apologise for my lack of faith.
VR standalone might make sense at first, since we already have Star Wars VR and Mel's statements about this in the past. SWVR uses Unreal Engine, much like Pinball FX. Considering the amount of licenses involved here, a standalone WMS VR app might make the most sense here.
Pinball FX2 VR is the only title where there are multiple licenses involved, those being (OG) Telltale and Universal.
The best case scenario is direct VR compatibility to Pinball FX and Pinball M -- a separate launch option like Tetris Effect. With the licenses involved there plus the amount of content (tables + Play Corner), M might have the most impact in getting VR first.
The SWVR was just a distaster imho... they wasted so many opportunities with this title.
The first thing you want to do before trying VPX VR is to make sure the main VPX is working fine with no issues. So get it configured, up and running on your machine first before even attempting the VR tables. Popper Baller installer makes it pretty easy these days, plus it is way less complex if you're doing it on only one screen, less to keep track of and all that.

Saying that though, VPX really shines and is more fun with 2 or more screens if you can do it.
Banning a user from Steam for enabling VR (which Zen should have done anyways) would be the ultimate d!ck move.
