hehehh thanks.
I'm a big fan of these pinballs in a way that I have bought the entire collection of all previous games.
However I cannot go back from VR, and that is why I keep asking, but Zen Studios remains silent.
At least it would be nice if they mention that they will add it at some point, even if they cannot mention an specific date.
I rly hope we can play every table in VR this time and they don't release a seperate VR stand alone.
I maintain a strong preference for VR support within the main PFX branch - some might say a complete no brainer.
The major issues appear to be:
- Licencing.
- Bespoke environments, effects and UI integration.
- Devolution of the ticket system / cross-buy.
If they won’t do it, the community might. With the jump to unreal it also opens up the possibility of simpler modding since all the tools are well known and freely available. Hogwarts Legacy got it’s first mods within the first day. There is also some universal UE VR plugin in the works. Check it out:

No need to wait on Zen.
And yes, I know of VPVR and I've clocked hundreds of hours playing all the fanmade VR tables. I just want to do it through a legal channel now that FX is out on Steam.
That's why we ask for VR support here. :)
The different environment of each table in FX2 VR have added a lot of atmosphere(!), but things like the zombies touching into the tables were annoying after some time imo.
They could make it simple, just place us in the game room and let us play.
I think most people are fine with that, no real need for the fancy animations around the tables. I guess some people would even favour this over the FX2 VR animations.
Less "waste" of performance and less distraction from the pinball game.
I wonder what's the problem... it's 2023. VR pinball is nothing new.
Why they don't want our money? :)
Would love to pay for VR support, but untill then i am looking forward to the mod as well. :)
If not, it looks like the Praydog mod will do the trick just fine! Hopefully he has that wrapped up soon. Either way, I’m confident enough to start buying table packs to enjoy traditionally until one of these two things happens.
Since they only have a track record of releasing standalone VR product, id hold fire on the former, and wait on the mod to see what works.
Go for it if you can still play on a monitor though.
