Any news on VR Support ?
Hi @Zen Studios !!!

I love to see the game released on Steam !!

However I cannot go back from VR Awesomeness is the only way to have a true 1:1 real life-size scale and true 3D stereoscopic to play pinball with perfect freedom to view the tables without any FIXED CAMERA limitations of traditional Flat-screen 2D gameplay.

So, please... do you have any news of VR support coming???

Unreal Engine supports VR natively !!

Congratulations on the first PFX post! There's no VR news yet but I'm equally interested.

hehehh thanks.

I'm a big fan of these pinballs in a way that I have bought the entire collection of all previous games.

However I cannot go back from VR, and that is why I keep asking, but Zen Studios remains silent.

At least it would be nice if they mention that they will add it at some point, even if they cannot mention an specific date.

If they would simply release a VR mode DLC so we can play ALL the tables in VR... :)

I rly hope we can play every table in VR this time and they don't release a seperate VR stand alone.

VR support would be wonderful!

With the jump to the Unreal Engine adding a VR camera would be simple. So of course Zen won't do it. Instead they'll make you buy a few average VR-specific tables that you have already purchased.

I maintain a strong preference for VR support within the main PFX branch - some might say a complete no brainer.

The major issues appear to be:
- Licencing.
- Bespoke environments, effects and UI integration.
- Devolution of the ticket system / cross-buy.

If they won’t do it, the community might. With the jump to unreal it also opens up the possibility of simpler modding since all the tools are well known and freely available. Hogwarts Legacy got it’s first mods within the first day. There is also some universal UE VR plugin in the works. Check it out:

No need to wait on Zen.

Yeah, that’s the mod they’re writing about. Didn’t stumble upon that video. Thanks! Great news for VR enthusiasts.

VR please!!!

Zaccaria Pinball has a VR DLC. I am desperate enough to pay extra per table to unlock a simple VR mode. Take my money, Zen!

And yes, I know of VPVR and I've clocked hundreds of hours playing all the fanmade VR tables. I just want to do it through a legal channel now that FX is out on Steam.

Even Praydog's upcoming UE VR Injector Mod won't offer the same fantastic VR experience (native vr title) FX2 VR does. I bought FX2 VR and was surprised how VR could improve upon already great pinball tables (non-VR).

It's a very nice and almost perfect pinball vr simulation, was just lacking tables mainly.
That's why we ask for VR support here. :)

The different environment of each table in FX2 VR have added a lot of atmosphere(!), but things like the zombies touching into the tables were annoying after some time imo.

They could make it simple, just place us in the game room and let us play.
I think most people are fine with that, no real need for the fancy animations around the tables. I guess some people would even favour this over the FX2 VR animations.
Less "waste" of performance and less distraction from the pinball game.

I wonder what's the problem... it's 2023. VR pinball is nothing new.
Why they don't want our money? :)

Would love to pay for VR support, but untill then i am looking forward to the mod as well. :)

Official VR support has been hinted at being possible “in the second half of 2023.” I’m sorry, but I don’t remember if this was mentioned in one of their monthly pinball news shows on YouTube, in a podcast, or on Reddit but I definitely know somebody at Zen said it. It’s been teased other times as well.

If not, it looks like the Praydog mod will do the trick just fine! Hopefully he has that wrapped up soon. Either way, I’m confident enough to start buying table packs to enjoy traditionally until one of these two things happens.

Since they only have a track record of releasing standalone VR product, id hold fire on the former, and wait on the mod to see what works.

Go for it if you can still play on a monitor though.
