Voiceover call outs not working?
Was revisiting this game in hopes to play it on my VPIN. I picked up a couple of tables in the sale, but noticed none of them had voiceovers .. revisiting the older tables, none of those have voiceover either. I've tried reinstalling and changing various things and still cant quite figure out whats happening. Is there a fix for this? Thanks!

I have voices where I expect to have voices, but not sure what you mean by "call outs"

Do you have specific examples of where you expect something but it's not there?

Thanks for the reply, I am seemingly missing all character voices. In Borderlands or South Park the characters move and animate it's just I can no longer hear them saying things or doing the typical call-outs.

I just played a game on each table to test, and voices are working as expected on both.
I can physically unplug or disable my 7.1 system and get voices back, but there must be a better way to re-enable the call-outs or tell fx to utilize the call-outs via stereo or front channels etc.

I could understand the voices being on a specific speaker on a 7.1 setup but they shouldn't go away. I'd check to make sure you're getting output from all speakers. I'd use the control panel applet, not FX.
Unfortunately it seems to be an issue with FX specifically. Hopefully someone from Zen can weigh in!
im having this same issue - no voiceover audio at all - adjusting voiceover volume in settings its blank (no voiceover sound is playing when trying to adjust the voiceover audio settings ) - everything is set up fine 7.1 in Windows and all my other applications work correctly including Visual Pinball and Future Pinball - and all my other Zen Pinball FX sounds work correctly - how do you send the Voiceover audio on the right channels?

Similar issue on FX3, known since december, no fixes yet, and no response from the devs since january.

Are they even active at Zen at the moment? Pinball M has several issues too that don't seem to get addressed.

This may help. It did for me. Windows 10/11. My dolby/atmos surround drivers were not playing well with FX or MS TEAMS.

You should have the basic sound device/drivers on your machine. For example my basic was realtek audio device/driver.

You can change them on the fly via the sound icon in your sys tray though you will have to do it each time, or in windows you can go to settings / app volume and device and permanently select the device/driver to use with a specific app. I just set mine to use the basic device for steam. All speakers, sub still work. Probably losing something by not using the higher end device driver but if so, it is better (for me) than empty channels/no sound on FX/TEAMS

EDIT: Have Steam and FX running, tab out to minimize, before going to settings app/volume and device. The app list shows app currently using the sound devices.

Probably other ways to get to the same end. That worked for me. Maybe it will work for you.

Good luck.

my cabinet just uses a basic startech sound card and the built in windows 11 device drivers for it, not much adjusting I can do there
I was able to "fix" this by telling Windows 11 that I had a center channel speaker (I don't) - and then telling equalizer APO to send any center signals to the left and right channels - Voiceovers started working after this
