Do you have specific examples of where you expect something but it's not there?
I could understand the voices being on a specific speaker on a 7.1 setup but they shouldn't go away. I'd check to make sure you're getting output from all speakers. I'd use the control panel applet, not FX.

Are they even active at Zen at the moment? Pinball M has several issues too that don't seem to get addressed.
This may help. It did for me. Windows 10/11. My dolby/atmos surround drivers were not playing well with FX or MS TEAMS.
You should have the basic sound device/drivers on your machine. For example my basic was realtek audio device/driver.
You can change them on the fly via the sound icon in your sys tray though you will have to do it each time, or in windows you can go to settings / app volume and device and permanently select the device/driver to use with a specific app. I just set mine to use the basic device for steam. All speakers, sub still work. Probably losing something by not using the higher end device driver but if so, it is better (for me) than empty channels/no sound on FX/TEAMS
EDIT: Have Steam and FX running, tab out to minimize, before going to settings app/volume and device. The app list shows app currently using the sound devices.
Probably other ways to get to the same end. That worked for me. Maybe it will work for you.
Good luck.
