Table Voiceovers have stopped

I have enjoyed playing a few tables on FX with no problems, until recently when the voiceovers have stopped. This has happened on every table I play on PC, although no issues when I play on android tablet.

I've asked ZEN for a solution , but not helpful despite indicating that other users have the same issue. Anyone else have this problem? If so is there a solution?

Shame this has happened because it's ruined the experience. Can anyone help please?

I have voices in the tables I've played within the last 24 hours.

Voices are just another digital sound like any other. they're not speech synthesizer output.

Have you checked that the "Narration" volume is > 0 in Settings?

I would recommend checking surround sound settings, based upon prior reports there are issues with certain setups, e.g. 7.1. Try using 5.1 / 2.0 instead and report back.

Unfortunately I can't test the 7.1 issues as I don't have the gear but seems to be a legitimate issue on Zen tables.

Thanks Matt. If I change settings to Stereo instead of 5.1 then voiceovers are there. Very strange though, because all was OK when I first started playing on my normal sound setup (5.1). Anyway, at least I can play with all effects, just have to remember to change settings for this game.

Be good to know whether ZEN acknowledge this issue and have a fix lined up. Thanks again.
