Same here on Steam Deck. I tried it a few times, always freezes.
The other tables from the pack seem to run just fine.
Same here, froze and had to quit the game, I am on steam deck too.

This seems to be an issue at frame rates above 60. Considering how common higher frame rates are these days, I'd consider that unacceptable. Physics should work similarly at any frame rate.

You have to hit the sink hole by the jump ramp to get it. You'll see a flashing "Extra Ball" indicator for it next to the hole after getting the award.
