"Soft Nudge"

I just saw in the patch notes there is a soft nudge? Did the analog stick in the past respond to how hard/far you pushed it for nudge strength?

Apparently, yes.

Though for the life of me I could never achieve "soft nudges", on an Xbox or 8bitdo controller.

The current fix (assign the nudge to the D-pad) seems to work well.

Pinball FX has two levels of Nudge Soft (50% of Analog Deflection of Joystick or Trigger) and Hard Nudge (100% Analog Deflection of Joystick or Trigger). But I’ve been testing the new Pinball FX and I can not find a similar behaviour in Williams games, at least.

Does anyone know if a two level nudge is available in the newer Pinball FX? Cabinet Mode? (Being able to adjust Nudge Sensitivity would be a good thing to have to, to make Pinball FX relevant. For now I am going to have to go back to Pinball FX3 even though I like Pinball FX improvements.)

Last patch messed up nudge. Analog stick is doing 100%. Pinball M it is doing the same but you can fix it by changing nudge from left to right then back to left stick.

If you use a joystick or an analog input, you can easily cheat your way to infinite soft nudge. Se my thread here:

Nudge seems broken atm. The joystick nudge kind of works sometimes. My controller left joystick is a bit broken and repeats, so that might be the real issue. The dpad nudge that I prefer from previous games sometimes works, but mostly not.
