Here we go, more dopey nonsense from you. It is better than FX3, get Daddy to buy you a new machine maybe?
You don't need top of the line hardware. Wind it down so it looks like FX3?
You get a 24 hour pass for most of the games so you don't have to rely on reviews. Most are not reviews they're moaning and whinging.
Even just re-buying Williams from FX3 to FX amounts to around 40 EUR. This is not the kind of money you ask your customers to spend on your "new" product to migrate the exact same content.
I can only speak for the Williams tables, but they are not remastered. I don't much care what marketing nonsense Zen comes up with. Those are the same tables, on the same or worse physics, with some of the same bugs.
You cannot expect people to dole out so much money for this. It just doesn't work this way, simple as that. But I guess Zen either somehow managed to blow all of Epic's money and now needs more, or they have already got all the supposedly expensive pinball licenses people always wanted and are about to release those tables for 12 bucks a pop next year
What I do is, I read the negative reviews, and look at what they are complaining about.
This is the fastest way to figure out if what people are complaining about is something that would bother me, or not. And to see if issues are being fixed.
Those that learn of Zen's practices presenting the same as new, and are afraid it will happen to them in the future as well, plus her/his friend apparently.
On the other hand, why would an EGS shill care for what is happening on Steam or on the Xbox forums? Isn't he satisfied with his version on EGS?
Of course, I do like the inclusion of Raytracing, and ZEN has been better with transferring tables than they have in the past. At least, I didn't need to rebuy them coming over to Steam.
As well as Stern Pinball and Zaccaria Pinball. These aren't free, if you want the full experience or the meat of the game, you have to pay.
And?
You can't even get the Williams tables in Pinball Arcade anymore. So you what said certainly doesn't apply to everyone. Further, do you remember the price of those Williams tables in Pinball Arcade? There were four packs at $20 or $30 each. No thanks. I don't ever remember them ever going on sale either.
3 free tables, and a free 24 hour pinball pass that can be used to try most of the others.
EDIT: Zen do not 'share' tables from previous FX editions, they resell them.
I doubt that "mixed" reviews for one specific game would deter someone from playing a whole genre of games. Does your friend play for example Zaccaria Pinball which has "very positive" reviews (or any of the other pinball games with positive reviews)? Maybe he/she is just not interested in pinball games?
