Also I wonder, is there endgame content? It looks like you are just upgrading and building just to beat the game and max everything then just stop playing, since there is no randomly generated content and the game is just on rails with the illusion of freedom?
Yup it's a fairly simple game and likely not for you ;) The only minor challenge seems to be the combat, which is still very casual. If you don't want your character to die and lose all their power ups you do have to move out of the way for instance to avoid boss attacks, but it's no Dark Souls :) I have only completed the first 2 islands so far, so can't say for sure if there is an "endgame", but I doubt it, since it's not really that kind of game. It's about the gameplay loop, which as simple as it may be appeals to some players. If you're looking for a game that requires you to think a lot, be strategic, solve puzzles or anything along those lines then you won't find it here. I would say this scratches a similar kind of itch as clicker games do except here you move your character around - which for me makes it feel more engaging than clicker games. But the entire concept is just collect resources so you can craft stuff, expand the islands and buy upgrades, so you can collect even more resources and be able to defeat enemies and beat the occasional boss. Rinse repeat through 8 or so planets.
It's not hard or challenging, but it's also not supposed to be. It's just a simple game that's nice to chill with when you're too tired (or in my case atm: to sick) to concentrate on something more demanding. And personally I have no problem with it not taking hundreds of hours to complete or that it lacks replayability. There are a gazillion games out there - they don't all have to be something you can invest a thousand hours in. Actually I'm relieved that they aren't lol
The game is perfect for anyone that might game for long hours some other game that's demanding and serious and then take a break with a game that's not.
The Game was easy enough to tell what it was for me and PERFECT for it so i bought it quick and have zero regrets.
Go through an area collect save resources to gain access to areas and upgrade gear fight some things or a boss and hit 100 percent of that area and move on not even caring how easy it was.
I don't want every game i play to kill my soul and this game is a break from being a serious sour face try hard all the time which IMO sucks to be but to each is to own.
Also anyone that compares it to the mobile and says same thing needs an eye appointment just saying.
A Beautiful Fun Relaxing game to play through and forget some stress and if that is your thing worth buying with no hesitation.
Then its just not your game simple as that and when its not your game its not your game you just shrug it off and move on.
Bound to happen in games and all things someone is not into it and that's just how it is.
But when its not your thing and saying there is nothing when there is well its just unjustified and pretty narrow in outlook.
This game does have progress and a sense of it just not the type you want from a game.
Cool!!!
You see even going through tiers of gear and weapons and fully completing all areas while killing everything or getting 100 on achievements or whatever ECT ECT for SOME gamer types will be fulfilling and enough and justify a purpose and a worth{even if called lacking depth and repetitive by another gamer}
Games not for you but there is more than enough there for someone that is NOT you perhaps?
Yes there is.
Hey, I have some homework for you, look up the definitions for the words: "forum" and "hypocrisy". In the last message, the guy was replying to whatever you tried to say, he wasn't restating something, but then you replied to him and just restated what you said in the original message. Also if you think if someone doesn't like something, they should just shrug it off and move on, then why bother to reply and not shrug it off and move on?
Here's how the exchange went
Him: Yeah I don't like this game
You: No, the game is not for you. It's easy and casual. Also, I want to mention non casual games exist.
Him: This one isn't but I know easy and casual games, this one lacks this and that.
You: Oh, no it's not for you, and stop talking about it, just move on. Also, I want to mention again that non casual games exist.
When you reply to someone try to stay on subject and not go on a rant about random things. Also don't call people narrow or ask them to take eye appointments, especially without a reason like in this case, it's not nice.
There was no rant and if someone is off subject it's you with your boring vauge of real point seemingly butt hurt critique.
Nice bland recap tho real insightful and all.
But here is a lesson get over being hurt by words so easily and how about YOU stay on subject because I never was the subject and that's what your talking about...me... Contributing nothing really about this game.
The poster does not enjoy the game and it's fine the games not changing so yes it's healthy to move on... Not gripe and waste time which seems to be what you are here for.
Nothing mentioned has proven this game is bad and comparing it to a mobile game is misinformation and off subject itself.
It's not that game simple as that.
So I wont talk to you any further less you want to in fact talk about this game so its to be game talk or nothing at all buddy just for you and because you are right.
