I tried it...
Honestly I mean no disrespect to anyone, devs or people that enjoy this. I bought it to play it local coop with my wife. I launched it to try it myself for a moment and test everything before playing with her. After 20 mins of gameplay I was thinking "omg this has to be the most boring and senseless thing I played on steam ever"... I had to refund it...

The only positive thing I have to say, and its a big one. Is props to the devs for making this a one time pay game and no microtransactions or pay walls of any kind. They had to rework the entire game to make it a steam game. Thats pretty cool.

But man its boring. Be aware the only think you will have to do is walk in tiny places and watch your dude collect/place resources. That is it. Even for a game to play while watching some videos on the second monitor this feels boring and senseless (to me).

I liked the idea of a local coop farming/building and combat game. But it wasnt at all what I expected. Its basically an "incremental" type game but you walk to places instead of clicking buttons.

I LOVE the progression of numbers going burrrr in this game

I Love walking around and find those mechanics outstanding and satisfying in this game

Furthermore this game is great just for having those two mechanics alone and the chill way they are implemented.

Unlocking areas is relaxing and pleasant and the color schemes in those areas are vibrant and exciting to see.

Getting all the materials needed even if in similar ways keeps interest because they are different looking materials and keeps it fresh and enjoyable.

Seeing that 100 percent on every world i only walk through while number go burrr is excellent and really keeps you going for more.

Purpose=simply why you do what you are doing and keep doing it
So relaxing and hitting 100 is my purpose and why i KEEP playing the game and find it worth playing as someone that has put time into the game and kept playing it and will till my PURPOSE is met.

That's sad. Probably it's what happens if you try to port games with dreadful monetization to real platforms.

the gameplay is basically a Grinding Roguelite. you don't build anything in this game, you just upgrade, grind, upgrade & explore, collect, grind & upgrade. it's fairly addictive if you tend to grinding games, like exploration & can cope with increasingly harder enemies. if you dont, then yes, the game might seem boring, though you can't experience the core gist in 20 min.

While I get why this isn't a game for everyone I personally am enjoying it so far. Sometimes I like a "turn your brain off" and chill kind of game. It really doesn't have anything to do with it being a port from mobile. There are other games on Steam that scratch the same itch. It appeals to some people and not to others and that's perfectly okay. :)

You need to get drunk and have your kids do everything for you, make it become an RTS.
I feel like a fish could play this game, all you really need to do is set it up to move directionally and put auto attack on and maybe a macro spamming to use/upgrade stuff.

Also I wonder, is there endgame content? It looks like you are just upgrading and building just to beat the game and max everything then just stop playing, since there is no randomly generated content and the game is just on rails with the illusion of freedom?

Yup it's a fairly simple game and likely not for you ;) The only minor challenge seems to be the combat, which is still very casual. If you don't want your character to die and lose all their power ups you do have to move out of the way for instance to avoid boss attacks, but it's no Dark Souls :) I have only completed the first 2 islands so far, so can't say for sure if there is an "endgame", but I doubt it, since it's not really that kind of game. It's about the gameplay loop, which as simple as it may be appeals to some players. If you're looking for a game that requires you to think a lot, be strategic, solve puzzles or anything along those lines then you won't find it here. I would say this scratches a similar kind of itch as clicker games do except here you move your character around - which for me makes it feel more engaging than clicker games. But the entire concept is just collect resources so you can craft stuff, expand the islands and buy upgrades, so you can collect even more resources and be able to defeat enemies and beat the occasional boss. Rinse repeat through 8 or so planets.
It's not hard or challenging, but it's also not supposed to be. It's just a simple game that's nice to chill with when you're too tired (or in my case atm: to sick) to concentrate on something more demanding. And personally I have no problem with it not taking hundreds of hours to complete or that it lacks replayability. There are a gazillion games out there - they don't all have to be something you can invest a thousand hours in. Actually I'm relieved that they aren't lol

It's because it's a mobile game ported to PC, this game is out on playstore since 2021 and is full of ads and microtransactions. Ofc it's boring when the game was built with handicaps that can be canceled by spending money, but then spending money got removed.

Yeah thats facts. And kinda obvious if you know a lil bit of how the mobile version works. But this feels wrong... Im pretty sure the mobile version is more fun and has a better sense of progression... The pc version is so "free" that you just have to walk and watch numbers go up and down... Its extremely boring.

Not even the same game as the mobile version and has ZERO to do with that game.

The game is perfect for anyone that might game for long hours some other game that's demanding and serious and then take a break with a game that's not.

The Game was easy enough to tell what it was for me and PERFECT for it so i bought it quick and have zero regrets.

Go through an area collect save resources to gain access to areas and upgrade gear fight some things or a boss and hit 100 percent of that area and move on not even caring how easy it was.

I don't want every game i play to kill my soul and this game is a break from being a serious sour face try hard all the time which IMO sucks to be but to each is to own.

Also anyone that compares it to the mobile and says same thing needs an eye appointment just saying.

A Beautiful Fun Relaxing game to play through and forget some stress and if that is your thing worth buying with no hesitation.

there are a ton (maybe too many) chill games out there that have at least some level of depth and at least a few engaging mechanics, and a sense of progress... a ton literally. this barely feels like a game. even when Im in the mood of wasting my time and shut off my brain this game makes me feel like im wasting my wasting time (? lmao for real tho.

Then its just not your game simple as that and when its not your game its not your game you just shrug it off and move on.

Bound to happen in games and all things someone is not into it and that's just how it is.

But when its not your thing and saying there is nothing when there is well its just unjustified and pretty narrow in outlook.

This game does have progress and a sense of it just not the type you want from a game.

Cool!!!

You see even going through tiers of gear and weapons and fully completing all areas while killing everything or getting 100 on achievements or whatever ECT ECT for SOME gamer types will be fulfilling and enough and justify a purpose and a worth{even if called lacking depth and repetitive by another gamer}

Games not for you but there is more than enough there for someone that is NOT you perhaps?

Yes there is.

Hey, I have some homework for you, look up the definitions for the words: "forum" and "hypocrisy". In the last message, the guy was replying to whatever you tried to say, he wasn't restating something, but then you replied to him and just restated what you said in the original message. Also if you think if someone doesn't like something, they should just shrug it off and move on, then why bother to reply and not shrug it off and move on?

Here's how the exchange went
Him: Yeah I don't like this game
You: No, the game is not for you. It's easy and casual. Also, I want to mention non casual games exist.
Him: This one isn't but I know easy and casual games, this one lacks this and that.
You: Oh, no it's not for you, and stop talking about it, just move on. Also, I want to mention again that non casual games exist.

When you reply to someone try to stay on subject and not go on a rant about random things. Also don't call people narrow or ask them to take eye appointments, especially without a reason like in this case, it's not nice.

Homework? No thanks teach im good.
There was no rant and if someone is off subject it's you with your boring vauge of real point seemingly butt hurt critique.
Nice bland recap tho real insightful and all.
But here is a lesson get over being hurt by words so easily and how about YOU stay on subject because I never was the subject and that's what your talking about...me... Contributing nothing really about this game.

The poster does not enjoy the game and it's fine the games not changing so yes it's healthy to move on... Not gripe and waste time which seems to be what you are here for.

Nothing mentioned has proven this game is bad and comparing it to a mobile game is misinformation and off subject itself.

It's not that game simple as that.

Do you really not see the hypocrisy of what you're writing? Just take some time to really think about it before you reply.
You know what if it helps you Lum I will say this} By wasting my time talking to you and not about the game and going any further on with it you are RIGHT it is total hypocrisy.

So I wont talk to you any further less you want to in fact talk about this game so its to be game talk or nothing at all buddy just for you and because you are right.
