stuck at the "Last Train Home" quest

I arrived at the Vaster Reach as the quest tells me to do. But the mission doesn't trigger. I have driven there 2 times already. But the quest doesn't continue. Anyone knows what to do?

im on the same quest and the same happened to me i am at vester reach and i have take the spirits and loretta there yet the quest did not update

Make sure you have Gruff with you. The mission text does not really remind you, but he has to go to Vaster as well. Both he and Loretta have specific dialogue on the train when they're on the way there. So if you don't have him, it will not complete. Also, make sure you have all nine Pyre Sprites with you.

I brought mcgruff and ten sprites but the quest isnt advancing either
