Quest Help
I'm trying to complete the air sample quest and I'm in Berrenpyre with the device but don't know how to actually collect the air.

I've been doing sidequests so I haven't done that yet, buuut my guess would be to go to the stoves and interact with them? When I Was in town, before I had the sample machine, I Was able to interact with the air the stoves were spitting out for some reason, my guess is for that quest.

There are boilers at the back of houses with dark air pollution ~ Come closer and hand a bottle to collect the air
I'm stuck on this quest too, but because I can't find Carlos to return the air sample. My map says he's in Tome Dig, but he's not there. Where is he??

I have the same issue, i brought him to Berrenpyre and when i started the quest to collect the samples he disappeared.
So I ended up saving & reloading the game, that fixed it

When I stand in front of the boiler with the bottle, I get the “examine” command, but not the “gather air” command. Does anyone know what the cause is?

I also can't complete this quests. There's no prompt in front of the boilers.
I also don't get a prompt for the boilers

I think the newest update broke this quest, the quest is checked off at 0/3 air samples collected

+1

I had this same thing happen to me. You can reference their "Temporary Fixes for Known Bugs" post for more details, but you can open debug and basically move yourself past that point in the quest. I believe it's the following commands:
1. SetQuestEntryState("SomethingInTheAir", 4, "success")
2. SetQuestEntryState("SomethingInTheAir", 5, "active")

Do you know how you open the debug menu on the Steam Deck?

From their post: "For all bugs, start by opening the debug console by pressing the key below the esc-button if you play with a keyboard, or Steam-button + X if you play on a Steam Deck."
