I Instantly regreted buying this game and it's preorder 10% package.

Ya I'm gonna be honest as i'm writing this, i've already abandond this game's future. After a quick looking up early gameplays and reviews,

i'm mostly certain that this game,,, WILL NOT! Live up to it's hype and actual gameplay from what i've seen thus far..

henceforth!

I sincerely wish the japanese devs the best of luck (If they can...)
But Nah Fam.. I'm right off this PRE-sinking boat! Adios.. Just return my 50+€

Fortunately for you Steam will refund you. As for me, Sony will not.

Always best practice to wait for the reviews, the games industry is too much of a wreck to take chances theese days, good that you got the refund and that steam is awesome!

This.. This is why I was hesitant to buy it. I like the concept, but the previews are lackluster and only showcase .. putting robots together in weird ways.

Yeah, I kinda had hopes for this game. I gave the tutorial a try, moving around feels EXTREMELY floaty. Like absolutely no heft to the mech at all, and not to even mention destroying those 'practice' mechs just makes them disappear into a orange puff of fire that lasts for a microsecond. No ragdolls or anything, while most of it was waiting for the dialogue lady to stop talking lol. If this what the game had to show for the tutorial, I wouldn't want to see the rest of the game.. definitely refunding it immediately.

Yes, the whole point of the game is "putting robots together in weird way". It's not a off the wall spectacle game like AC6, more like a very off brand Daemon x Machina.

Yes, the whole point of the game is "putting robots together in weird way". It's not a off the wall spectacle game like AC6, more like a very off brand Daemon x Machina.

Personally, I think of it more as "MASS Builder, but with less rigid customization". The gameplay is equally basic and they both require you to grind heavily for all the cool parts, but on the contrary Custom Mech Wars doesn't require you to work around a skeleton and just lets you go wild granted you give your robot at least 1 set of legs and keep an eye on your weight limit.
