Nice. How about the amount of ennemies ? Is it like EDF later on ?
easy
normal
Hard
very hard
nightmare
You cannot (yet) choose the last 2, so you would first have to complete the game on normal or hard
but you can compare it to how edf starts
tutorial and then some easier missions and then more and more are added
Like more enemies or new ones
But i like it
Not as much as the (main line) edf games but still fun
For me it feels kinda like a edf spinoff with robots instead of bugs and without the cheesy humor
Picking a mission and getting new weapons etc. Is the same as in edf
You pick up boxes from enemy you defeat
But with this game you buy it mostly for the mech customization (also the reason i bought it)
The gameplay itself is alright but like it in edf more it feels a little dumb down here
Its mostly fire weapons with r1 and r2 depends on your weapons
and boost with l1 and hover/fly a short time with l2 to evade
But there are also melee weapons
Arm only swing a little if you push o
(Playstation controller)
And automatic weapons that aim themself
You can also leave your mech and call for Another one if you activate a device (kind of a transmission tower)
That you can find in a couple of missions
The missions are short
(The ones i played) but i also have a lot of weapons on my mech (max weight limit) and i played on normal so it can change if i go further in the game
I got the cheapest version myself
And i had a 5 euro voucher for free on playstation so i got it for 40 euro
That is worth it for me
i would not pay 15 euro or more extra for the 2 other versions
But that is my opinion
If you like what you see online you should just get the dlc you want
But with everything that is coming in the next 2/3 months
i save that dlc money for that if there where no other games coming soon i would have got mayby the edf version

Quite literally 4 maps.
This.
I don't expect much after playing the "EDF" games, but the demo was still kinda disappointing.
The enemies don't need to do uber crazy stuff, but after fighting one, you basically fought them all... just in different shapes and sizes.
Granted, the demo was only 3 missions... but they had like zero variety.
A group of enemies spawns, you destroy them, the next group spawns, and every enemy does basically the same thing.
Sometimes they are on land, sometimes they are in the air, sometimes they move towards you, sometimes they don't.
And all fire guns in a straight line or shoot rarely a homing missile.
And sadly, the same thing applies to you.
Walking/Driving around with different shapes (robots, tanks...) is nice and all... but at the end of the day, they don't feel any different.
The tiger felt the same as the giant... whatever robot.
One was just smaller and had worse firepower... and that's about it.
All shoot their guns forward in the least impressive way.
And since you equip them with loads of guns, it doesn't feel like "EDF" at all, where you fire one gun at a time (dependend on the class) and have an easy comparison between switching out said gun.
Not to mention... you don't lose your weapon in "EDF" after being attacked.
Cause that's fun... doing even less damage against already spongy enemies.
Now this would be fine for the starter missions but if the game has 40 missions and ATLEAST 11 of those that I watched are the exact same. Eh. They nailed the customization but the missions needed to be atleast 50% of what edf has to offer for it to be fun to use the mech you created
Yes this is right
Customization is great in the game
Weapons collecting etc. Is the same as in edf
But the gameplay is dumb down compared to edf like i said
But still i enjoy it for the 40 euro i paid
I saw in the first trailer they released already you buy this game for customization the gameplay is a afterthought
