Mining gems not working
I finally unlocked the gem mining card, My miner digs in the gem "field" and the colored stones are disappearing but there are no gems added to my total. Is this somehow a known issue?

Hey Noeh

Does anything happen after they mine them or do the rocks simply vanish?

the rocks simply vanish and a kind of swampy area appears

Ok i'm unsure what's happening here but if you visit this link, {LINK REMOVED}, and submit us a ticket i can bring it to the teams attention as soon as possible :)

In addition include your save game (the folder starting with "prf1" found in the game files") and hopefully we can get back to you with something usefull soon

Thanks again for making us aware :)

Posting my experience for comparrison of a 'working' gem mining.

Ive sent two miners to a gem path. Eventually the gems disappeared, a small swamp showed up, both miners needed to be reborn, and i found a single tiny yellow gem floating there. I was able to recover the gem, and it added succesfully into my total.

My impression overall is that the 'cost' in waiting time was not worth the single gem, since sacrificing a follower is easier and cheaper.

The balancing of gems and how you gain them is still very much in flux, both prices and levels in game will be bouncing up and down for a while i would expect till they reach a state the design team is happy with :)

But its a good sign you actually found a gem unlike Noeh >.>

Well I haven't mined the whole field ... just a few of the stones and then I stopped as nothing was happening. I would be kind of angry to have the full vein mined and get only one gem, which I can get in a second by sacrificing a follower.

I can reassure you this is not the intended game design :)
It's suppose to be much more rewarding than a single gem so if you visit this link, {LINK REMOVED}, and submit it as a ticket (with your save game, the folder starting with "prf1" found in the game files) i can bring it to the teams attention as soon as possible :)

the compressed folder is 175MB and when I try to upload it it says (after like 10 seconds) that the upload took too long and that connection was lost. Do you expect people to have google fiber optics or something? :tdealwithit:

try compressing into smaller volumes. what compression program are you using?

I zipped it. Seems kind of odd asking people to upload save-folders, but not allow the support system to handle the standard size of the file. Will try to split it into more files.

They use a standard "web based" support system. unfortunately web technologies still don't really support error recovery and resuming uploads etc. It's basicly lazy programming. Give it another 5 or 10 years before some one bothers to implement this as a standard web "technology".

I played Godus at PC and Tablet and I found one difference. At my tablet a gem appeared after some hours at the second treasure temple of the first island, without mining them. At the PC that doesn't happen.
