I made it! The "secret" Island!

First of all: I made it! My followers made it to the island in the North/East Area!

Second: I was disappointed!

So here is my Trip.

As i had the Area in range i connected it to my main island.

It was a long trip but finally! They arrived!

The Shrine was in sight, so i decided to let them move on!

Only 4 Minutes remaining until i might see the greatest power in Godus

But i was soon to be disappointed! Only a dummy shrine appeared next to it!

No extra power was waiting there. Only placeholders!

Nothing happened! It doesn't matter what i tried. All that was up there was just some implemented gag of 22cans to make us try and fail to get there!

So i tried the relics. Maybe they had something secret to them!

But! I was disappointed again. Nothing was happening. Just some stuff without any function.

Thank you 22cans for giving me this challange! It was no easy one but it was a ton of fun and i am looking forward to see those items giving some action!

Some of us memory edited our values to get past the artificial barriers that the chest system offered - Nothing wrong in that. It's a beta - And we're all playing a singleplayer game anyway currently.

@Renok: So THAT'S where Lionhead Island is (tm) - I've wondered every time someone posted a screenie of it. Kudos :)

Wait. Mansen. "Secret Lionhead Island"? Now that you say something like this. Wasn't there an island like this in the old B&W games? Not sure. Can't find any pics...

Now that i think about it i feel like i have seen this island in one of peters games before...so that i come to this:

There was no easter egg to find on there like i hoped to. The island itself was the easter egg...and no one got it...

notice the double shrines, when my followers went to build the shrine a second one popped up, they both do nothing.

To get there edit the Steam\SteamApps\common\Godus\windows\received\balancefiles_b1.4\desktop\initialworldsetup\influence_areas.csv with a text editor and give the shrines like 500 range.

also you can edit the Steam\SteamApps\common\Godus\windows\received\balancefiles_b1.4\desktop\balance\story\storyeventsteps001.csv to make all the battles availible giving you the industrial age cards.

You cannot however get any industrial age resources since there are only level 2 chests on the island which only give up the the expansion era resources :(

check for yourself in the initialmapobjects.csv file, might try adding more treasure3/4 chests

Yup. Also used this method to get myself all spells and other stuff. As i edited some files a huge volcano appeared giving me the not yet implemented volcano spell.

"Lionhead" - As in the company that Peter was part of when they made Black & White. There was no deeper meaning to what I wrote :P

The entire island is filled with B&W 1 references ^^

Yeah i know. But that one small island there? It reminds me of a old loading screen or something from B&W1 or 2. Or a ingame isle. But i just can't find any pics of it and i don't have the game cds here to install it and check it.

Now that i think about it more and more? The way the gems from the first gem battle are layed out? it's a spell gesture from b&w...wow. the entire game is a easter egg!

You mean that second Temple of Battle? Yeah...but there seems no way on getting to it. Already tried to get it out there but can't find it in any of the files...

Okay. Got it up to the main isle. It's the same as the other one. Just the Story Mount of Gods battles.
