Help - Stuck with no trees, no rocks, and no belief

I started to play Godus again having been busy for a while.

I've been sculpting the land to create space to get new abodes, however, I've now found myself in the situation where I've removed all trees, all rocks, and I'm 1 follower away from hitting the next level... But I'm out of belief. None of my abodes are producing belief so I can't create more land for more abodes...

What can I do? I seem to be stuck in a loop of needing belief to get more belief but without any to start with!

I don't think many of us have much belief in Godus anymore...

Sorry, that's of no help to your situation; try verifying your game cache through Steam. Right-Click the game icon, click the properties menu, select the Local Files tab, and click "Verify Integrity of Game Cache". It could be that your game is just stuck with a bug.

Or, you've gone too far (go back!). You'll probably have to restart the game. A little tip; you don't need to flatten everything. Try just building little "communities" around your town center - that way they will generate more belief and population will grow without having to spread your settlements too thin. If you have a ton of small structures, knock them down and let them build bigger ones.

So, ah, in order to progress I have to restart the game and play exactly in one way?

How do you restart? There is no "New Game" option.

Don't panic... Even the smaller abodes will give you mana eventually, it just takes a while. Keep the game running and do a few household chores, when you come back you should have enough mana to start converting your older structures into more efficient mana building ones.

You have to uninstall the game, then go and delete the steam folder(not like, the steam steam folder, delete the Godus folder in steam...), then reinstall.
