(Act 2) how to open Mom's room

Ok, I think I went everywhere on the ship with Vella, and I can't figure out how to get mom to open her door. I noticed that using the teleporter will change my voice, but that's not enough and I can't do it more than once. What am I missing?

u gotta go through the other teleporter (im assuming u went through sheys trophy room 1st)

after that she will start asking questions. just aski if u want the answers :)

First go through the red teleporter to get your head bigger once, then go back to the different mission rooms where the blue teleporter is, and go through that to get it bigger again. After that, Shay's mom will be fine with your voice, and will start asking questions to verify that you're Shay.

Thanks guys, that worked. Now I have another problem. I need to dispose of the bomb, and I can't open the trash chute.

Back during the room escape part, I triggered the cereal cleaners. I noticed now that I could probably get them stuck on the hallway by moving the beam there. However, that button won't trigger them anymore, the cereal box is empty now. What do I have to do?
