Does anybody know how to unchoke the guy?
I think I'm stuck, green beard is choking and I don't know what to do.

The spoon suggests hitting him in the abdomen, but I have nothing to hit him with since shay's being so nice and not kicking him in the gut, or heimlich'ing. I can make the tree throw up by showing the poster to him, but I can't put anything to catch the sap (so I could feed it to him to make the choker throw up? :tipheal: idk, im desperate)

I feel like i'm out of options, the snake and the horn are only there to give you the name of shay's childhood stuffed animal I'm pretty sure and I can't fall on top of green beard from the clouds or somehting crazy like that

anybody figure it out? is there an item I don't have that I should? I have the spoon, poster, schematic, and grabbin' gary remote (and I only need the schematic item to make the ship take off)

wait, figured it out, it's really dumb, let the snake choke you for like 3 minutes and it get tired and becomes an item... :csdsick:
HINT: One of the scenarios Shay goes through in Act One helps here.

Go to the snake, get grabbed and wait. It will fall off and then can be used on the choking guy. Turns out all those hug attacks have rendered Shay incapable of death via constriction.

How did you manage to wire the Robot?

The hint for the wiring puzzle is on the photo on Vella's side.

The wiring puzzle requires a pad of paper next to you.

I think the symbols mapped to each point are randomized on game start, and you need to remember 3 configurations and swap between them fairly frequently.

Order matters.

not really, stuffed animal doesn't really say "hey, he's used to a real muscular snake and that's not a completely stupid reaction to anybody but steve irwin"

They are indeed random as the default configuration for mine doesn't match what I've seen for others online. Testing for each point is required (which is easy, just plug a wire into each of the six spots and plug the hexagon dude into the charger, then note down which symbol correspond to which connector). Once you've noted it down, it's pretty straightforward.

There's actually more than one wiring possible with the little bots, and two of them are required for use in pretty strict order toward the end of the game, so it's recommend to note those down when you come across them, too.

Funny, I knew the solution to the snake thing but for some reason the event didn't got triggered the first time I tried it. So I kept wandering around for 15 minutes trying to find the "real" solution along with doing some other puzzles until I gave up and visited this thread. Went back, tried it again and then it worked...weird.

BTW some hints on the Spaceship hull part? I assume I need the syrup of the tree along with the apple(or is it a peach?) but couldn't figure a way to get it yet. Any hints? Thanks.

You're on the right track with the peach, not so much the syrup. You'll need something shell-like... If you can't find any seashells, perhaps you should cast your gaze skyward.

Thanks! Turned out I haven't used this one specific item on the egg. Seemed unlogical, but well... Finished the game now.

This is the one puzzle that I got stuck on so far. I guessed the solution, but didn't understand how to bring the snake to the beach.

I think if there was a line like "This is nothing compared to all the hug attacks I got on the ship" when he gets grabbed it would be more clear. But instead he kind of acts like he is in pain, so you think you could actually die or something.

Yeah. I guess the other hint is that Vella doesn't die from it either if you leave her on too long. And there's the picture of him with the plushie snake in Vella's Act 2... still was a bit of a non-intuitive puzzle, but I wouldn't call it unfair.

Well, he does talk about how this is a REAL dangerous situation and his mom isn't around, and he's all excited about it. That was my hint that "hey, let's see what happens" was a possible solution.
