I'd guess about 18-ish based on the Maiden's Ceremony being a coming of age type thing

doesn't necessarily mean she wasn't alive during the last time it happened, just that she was too young to remember it or be eligible to be chosen

I don't think they mention that the Maiden's Feast is a coming of age ceremony. Broken Age is a coming of age story though, and those tend to take place in anything from 12-18. I think age 14 makes sense.

Shay is 14 years old. He was born on the ship in order to prevent him from becoming contanimated and the ship has been traveling for 14 years.
