0x5 Error

I have a big problem, i can't open POSTAL Plus because it says i don't have permission to play and im the administrator of my pc, can someone give me a bit of help? And i try to verify and anything i can do but it dosen't work. (Sry for the bad english im spanish).

Did you try uninstalling and re-installing the game?
Can you tell me your system specs?

I tried that, and here are my specs:
Processor:Intel (R) Pentium (R) Dual CPU E2160 @1.80GHz
System:Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bits
RAM:2 GB
Video Card:GeForce GT 610
And that's all i can say about my pc, i think it's from 2009 and it's kind of like an office pc but i installed a video card, that's all i can say for now.

The best suggestion we have is to try this:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/1x7h9k608og1jum/Postal.zip?dl=0

Download this .exe and place it in your Steam directory where you have installed Postal, so something like: \steamapps\common\POSTAL1
And then launch the game from this .exe

Let me know if this works for you.

It didn't work, it says the same error and i can't do anything.

This is most likely an access denied error that Steam sometimes spits out.

There are several things you might try:

- Shut down the 'NVIDIA Capture Server Proxy' process in the Task Manager.
- Disable your anti-virus
- Go to steamapps/common/POSTALPlus/ and create a shortcut for Postal Plus.exe and move it to your Desktop, and launch it.
- Run the game as Administrator

I tried the last one, and i will try moving the game and disabling my antivirus (but my antivirus didn't affect the game at any time while i was playing before this error ocurred)

This can happen at any time, your antivirus might decide that a file is harmful to your PC and deny you from accessing it. Especially after a game update.

Before you disable your antivirus, you might also check if it added Postal Plus.exe to the blocked list. You can add the whole folder to a list of 'exceptions' too, depending on which AV you have.

Thanks a lot! it worked i made an exception in my anti virus and it worked, and i made a shortcut on my desktop. (And i opened it as administrator).

Actually i will make one when im not that busy, because i have final exams and i can't play that much. But still, thanks a lot for helping me solve that problem.
