Windows players:
The Postal Dude shouldn't spin at like 1000 miles per hour anymore when you even look at the keyboard. We _think_ we also fixed people spinning around, but I never saw it here personally. Please report back if you're still having problems with anything that spins more than you'd like it to.
Windows/Mac/Linux players:
OpenGL support! If your system supports it, we try to use OpenGL to render the game. This gives you a more consistent framerate (around 60fps or whatever), and more importantly, it lets you use the Steam Overlay in the game. This means you can take screenshots, see achievement notifications and chats, pop up a web browser, etc.
If OpenGL is totally hosed for whatever reason, you can still use the software renderer; add "-software" to your POSTAL launch options in Steam and we'll draw to the screen the same way the previous version did. Note you should fix your system, though; eventually this will be going away, so we can support widescreen, stretching to your desktop resolution (so the Steam Overlay doesn't have to cramp down to 640x480), etc. But for now, it lives on as an option.
Enjoy!

First: the right and middle mouse buttons work now and can be configured in the mouse input menu.
Second, more OpenGL goodies:
tl;dr: everything works better by default, we hope.
If you have OpenGL drivers that support GL_EXT_framebuffer_blit, fullscreen games will run at the native resolution of your monitor instead of trying to change the video mode to 640x480. The game itself is scaled up, so it'll more or less look like it did if we changed the monitor's resolution, but the Steam Overlay can now get at every available pixel, which is really nice.
If you run in a window, we'll default to a 1024x768 window now, using this upscaling magic, so it doesn't look like a postage stamp on your desktop anymore.
The game itself is always running at 640x480, but you can choose a different window size (or fullscreen resolution) to upscale to with the new "--resolution WxH" command line: so "--windowed --resolution 1152x864" will give you a 1152-by-864 window. These don't have to be 4:3 resolutions, but we'll center the game in it if not: no true widescreen support...yet!
Again, if your OpenGL drivers (or video card) suck, you'll still be in 640x480 software mode, but I think by this point, it's pretty compelling to get your system working with the OpenGL renderer.
Other than that, we've removed some unnecessary OpenGL buffer swaps, which is Postal's case mostly means the game is a little more responsive.
Have fun!

Fixed the "Get a girlfriend" and "You want our autograph too?" achievements (the credits one would work when quitting the game, but we had disabled achievements at the endgame, which killed both of these unlocks there).
Fixed the "From my cold, dead hands" achievement.
Fix for Steam screenshots being a big black image with a tiny screenshot in the lower left corner, and maybe a fix for those that are getting a black screen in Windows.
Turned off GL_EXT_framebuffer_blit support on Windows by default. This means you can still get the Steam Overlay, but you will always get a 640x480 window or fullscreen resolution. If it was working for you, add --glframebufferobject to your launch options to get it back. Mac and Linux still default to using it. We'll try to figure out a better solution for Windows users soon.
Fixes for several achievements.
Fixes for yet more achievements.
Just updating the end-game credits for the artists that did the achievement icons. No game changes in this build.
This is the SDL2 version. Please try removing -software from your launch options, and see if it works better now (we'll use Direct3D on Windows by default).

Changed the default key to fire your weapon from Control to Enter, since Control causes problems on some systems that have it bound for system-specific uses. You can still use Control if that's what you like, we just changed the default.
Windows: fixed the game refusing to start if you have a non-ASCII character in the game's installation directory.
Mac: Updated to a newer SDL2, so fullscreen will move over to its own Space, and you can slide back to your desktop during play, etc.
Windows: added some debug logging to track down a bug some people are seeing.
Windows: removed debug logging, fixed problem where GOG version of game left an incompatible .ini file.
Mac: fixed failure to start with new SDL library (sorry!)
Mac: show the mouse cursor when the Steam Overlay is up.
Cheat exploits closed, sorry haters:
THERESNOPLACELIKEOZ is now treated as a cheat (it will trigger the "Sissy" achievement and disable further achievements for your current savegame), so you can't just skip ahead to easily unlock various achievements.
Stats no longer accumulate while playing a demo, so your running/kill/bullet counts no longer increase unless you're actually playing. You'll just have to put something heavy on the fire button now, you filthy cheaters. :P
