is there any way to get this achievement on a pc? and if so how? probably the most annoying achievement ever (must play the game on a linux or mac computer)

Maybe this will happen sooner or later, just installed this game to see there's this achievement. Who does OS based achievos?

Is there an emulator of some kind that would enable this to happen? This achievement is still active and I've neither the wish or the time to search for a Mac or a Linux to get it. Is there any way for this to be done on Win? Or be deleted from the list by the devs, after all?

Use a live DVD, download Steam for Linux, download Postal, run, get the 'chieve. No (permanent) install required.

Or go to a friend's place who uses Linux or Mac.

Or use a virtual machine.

It's easy. I've seen worse achievements.

Virtual Machine + Ubuntu 14.04 (Linux Desktop) is more than likely your best combination.
- Download Oracle VM VirtualBox
- Set up your Virtual Machine (about 2gb ram required & 2gb hdd space)
- run Unbuntu ISO as live dvd (so you don't have to do a install)
- install Steam OS for Linux (this might require a workaround because of new update)
- install Postal -- as soon as you launch it you get the achivement.
- feel like a Boss
