Problem menu with no text and "postal plus.exe has stopped working"

That's my situation. I start the game and the menu is always with no text, like in this picture: http://imgur.com/9KwX7Sp

So I press some keys at random and the game crash, with "postal plus.exe has stopped working" message. What I have to do? I sincerely think I'm gonna ask refund

Sorry for the late response.

Delete the POSTAL.ini file located in steamapps/common/POSTAL1 and verify integrity of game cache. To do that, right click on Postal 1 in your Steam Library -> Properties -> Local Files -> Verify integrity of game cache.

Try running the game in Windows 98 Compatibility mode. (If that won't work, try different compatibility settings for ex. Windows XP Service Pack 2/3 etc.)

Still nothing, and if I set in Win. 98/95 compatibility mode he asks to insert the CD game

I am with the same problem, windows 7 64bits here. it stops at the loading screens

Karter4, I couldfix this using the Compabiluty Mode:

Execute: Windows XP (ServicePack2)
Execute in Resolution 640x480
DEsactivate visual theme
DEsactivate composition
Desactivate high DPI
Execute as Administrator

Try adding -software to your launch options. Right click on Postal 1 in your Steam Library -> Properties -> General -> Set Launch Options... and copy -software into the text bar.

Yes the game starts, but now it crashes sometimes... sorry but I won't waste any time, I'm going to ask refund

Yes, Running With Scissors, I was able to fix the problem using the Compability Mode properties, now it works with no problems,
