For it to count, you need to be there when the sunset happen, the trick is just go in and out of the nest 30 times during the sunset time and it will count. You don't have to wait for the sunset to happen 30 times.

I tried the same thing. But no, it'll only count one sunset per time you leave/re-enter the nest. Not nice, devs, not nice at all.

Make sure you do that within the sunset time, which is around XX:40 ~ XX:50 every hour. You need to exit the nest then reenter for it to count. So you have 10 minutes to do that 30 times. If you missed or couldn't finished the 30 re-enter in that time period you will need to wait for XX:40 on the next hour.
