Neds Vulcan to play
Im not able to leave a rewiev (I think you need to start the game at least once but i cant)

Was wery hyped to play this game. Only to get an error message about not having vulcan.
You need to mess around with the advanced computer settings and/or the cpus, (or was it gpu?)

I have no knowledge about those things. And I know, even if i do follow a guide 100% on how to change/install the computer system I certain will make so my computer wont work.
I refuse to mess around with them.

This is the first game from steam that does not even launch for me.

I am dissapointed, dissapoointet, dissapointed.
So I am not recomending this game.

Vulkan is just the modern replacement of OpenGL, and it's favored by multi-platform games due to it works on platforms and O/S that doesn't support DirectX (which only works in windows). And like OpenGL, it's part of the GPU's driver nowadays, so you don't need to install any 3rd party vulkan stuffs, just update your graphic card drivers to the latest version will do. If you have more than one GPUs on your system, make sure you update them all using the latest drivers from their official manufacturer's website.

Well, if you don't know how to update your drivers, you can always send your PC to your local tech store and have the technicians there help you update the drivers for you. They may charge you a price (service fee) for the job done though, so make sure you ask first.

I know right. He even says he doesn’t play this game much yet is on here playing as if he is tech support. Its good to help others but at this point he is just spamming the same thing over and over and some of it is misinformation with zero proof it’s correct from the company.

Why not create a pinned thread then or make your own thread with all the most FAQ on here or even a guide?

This is all you need to know on this topic. looking at the OP replies, it's safe to assume it is a jester farm and was never a call for help. Good on you Meowish for the attempt  but some people are beyond helping.

some people are beyond helping. Thats true.
I mean the country i live in is so ridicolus first in everything that is digital.
People are not able to keep up with the new stuff, because when you get the "new" stuff it is already old and outdated.

Thanks for the kind words! :kisscat:

But I can understand those who are desperate to get help and yet can't understand how to nor is able to bring themselves down to even try to understand the situation they are facing and jumped on conclusions that harm themselves more than helping... sadly, not everyone has the patience to learn nor the ability to troubleshooting the errors happening around them.

Well, the worst kinds are those who can't help themselves and ended up trying to prevent others from getting helped. And the worst among them are those who envied others that get helped and tried to target those who help others. :sweatcat:

Yes, i can understand your pain there. And like i said, your situation there can be fixed, if you don't have the knowledge and doesn't plan to get the knowledge on fixing it, there are those who can help you in your local store, they do it as a job, so don't feel shy to ask for their help. :winkycat:

it kind of feeled like they are playing tech suport. I replied on some other threads about i couldnt play the game, (different peoples threads) blah blah blah... and they ansvered MY replies with "-update the drivers" I understood the first replie. you do not need to be repetive.
I was going to do a review and found out that that option wasnt aviable so i made a thread instead to make a "review" Also it feelt like they didnt read all my text.
I have followed guides and such before on "how to install" things, and things has gotten broken way to many times for me to mess around with it again.
And i do not see any need to send my stationary pc away to some tech store. And knowing my country in everything else about digital. "oh you can't send it in you have to do it all yourself, just follow our guides online" kinda BS.
Been looking at the mostly new games i have on my wishlist i see no other game that requires Vulcan. So i see no point doing all the fuss only for one game.

Well, you're desperate enough to go to multiple threads for help, or are you just there to announce to everyone you don't plan to update your PC driver?

Well if you choose to live out your PC's life that way, it's your choice, really. Your situation there can be fixed, just a simple driver update and you get to play more games. You have your choices and you've made up your mind so, there's really is nothing much others can help you with it. :winkycat:

Must be a really advanced country, advanced enough that end users will not need the help of technicians. Never knew one day technicians will be out of job because of the internet... i always thought the technician job will survive even in the up coming AI crisis...

I never asked for help, I said what was on my mind like everyone else.
I never asked how to be able to play the game.

Yeah because they are stupid and believes that everyone automatically know how everything works. Even when it is new things. They claim "Its so easy"
No. No it isn't.

If your profile is accurate, you live in Sweden right? If so I do too and either I can help you (in english or swedish) through a discord call, or I can personally recommend asking a shop like Inet who are excellent.
I'm serious in that I can help whenever you have time. Add me as a friend on steam if you'd like to receive it.

Nah Im good. Been looking thru new releases (even games im not interested in) And looking at games I am interested in.
None of them tells that they demand Volcan to work. Call me lazy but Im not gona hassle thru all of that for one game.
Thanks for the offer tho.

Hard to find a game that needs Vulcan, for sure. Vulkan however, there's quite a few out there. Just because you haven't encountered it doesn't mean it's not a thing.
