On the first run though, explore, find spirits, collect winged lights, and then ascend to Eden.
After that the game opens up, there are 20 past seasons now, many of them with their own locations, spirits, quests, stories, so keep exploring the paths you couldn't go down as a new player.
After that you will probably have added a few friends, and there are a few social things you can do, either by helping other newer players, relax with others, build shared spaces to enjoy with others, play Skyball in Village of Dreams, learn some instruments in Harmony Hall. And there are a bunch of rotating "days of" events with their own unique things to do throughout the year too.
Hopefully that gives you a bit of a breakdown, but it's certainly not an exhaustive list.
